Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Project Engineer position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred — assist with engineering design and development of trencher components.
  • Experience working in drilling, rig, or heavy equipment environments — apply practical industry knowledge to equipment design and functionality.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fabrication processes — support designs that can move efficiently from concept to manufacturing.
  • Ability to manage projects from concept through completion — oversee engineering progress from initial scope to final fabrication.
  • Experience collaborating with drafting teams — coordinate closely to ensure efficient development of drawings and deliverables.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills — work alongside engineers, draftsmen, machinists, and purchasing staff to complete projects.
  • Organizational and problem-solving abilities — ensure projects stay on schedule and designs remain efficient and practical.
  • Ability to work in an office-based engineering environment — report to the Project Manager and collaborate with the engineering team.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 commemorate on experience.
