Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimating Manager position include:
- Strong expertise in building mechanical estimates using Trimble Estimation Desktop (or equivalent) – Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications – Analyze project drawings and documents to determine full scope and requirements
- Experience reviewing takeoffs and vendor/subcontractor quotes – Ensure accuracy and competitiveness of all submitted bids
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills – Manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation abilities – Present and justify estimates to senior leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with scheduling software – Compile bid documents and maintain organized records
- Knowledge of construction processes and procurement – Collaborate with project teams for successful handoff and execution
- 7+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 10+ years with an Associate’s) – Lead estimating efforts and implement best practices across projects
Salary: $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
