Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Engineer position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of experience, or 10+ years of equivalent hands-on design experience in material handling, robotics, or automation
- Deep expertise in Autodesk Inventor and Vault; experience with iLogic, CADLink, and automation within the Autodesk environment
- Knowledge of mechanical design principles for automated systems, including motion control, sensor placement, and conveyance
- Strong understanding of design for manufacturability and experience specifying tolerances (e.g., bearing bores)
- Mentor junior engineers and lead mechanical aspects of engineering projects across the automation team
- Oversee CAD environment and engineering processes, including ECO reviews, modeling best practices, and system improvements
- Collaborate across teams—production, purchasing, and installation—to support full project lifecycle from design to field implementation
- Experience with Revit interoperability, Model States, Factory Utilities, and Microsoft 365 applications is a plus
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
