Master Electrician Utilities opportunity in Brentwood, Tennessee! Join a rapidly growing utility construction company with 30 years of experience, a strong backlog of fiber optic infrastructure work, and exciting expansion plans throughout the Nashville market and beyond. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced electrical professional to help launch, shape, and lead a brand-new electrical division supporting utility, telecommunications, and fiber optic infrastructure projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Master Electrician Utilities position include:
- Active Tennessee Master Electrician License required with ability to serve as the company’s Qualifying Agent
- Minimum 5+ years of experience managing electrical projects required
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), permitting, electrical codes, safety procedures, and compliance requirements
- Experience with estimating, bidding, budgeting, proposal preparation, project planning, and project management
- Preferred experience with fiber optic infrastructure, telecommunications, utility construction, outside plant (OSP), underground utilities, or electrical distribution systems
- Serve as the company’s electrical license holder and technical expert for utility and fiber optic infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with internal construction, excavation, utility crews, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and company leadership
- Help establish processes, standards, hiring, training, mentoring, and long-term growth plans for a new electrical division
Salary: $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
