Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, family-owned manufacturing and R&D organization near Atlanta that specializes in products distributed through major national retailers. This Manufacturing Compounding Supervisor role offers the chance to lead hands-on chemical compounding operations in a state-of-the-art 40,000 sq. ft. facility, with strong growth plans, expanding production lines, and the opportunity to help build out and staff future shifts in a fast-paced, GMP-regulated environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Compounding Supervisor position include:
- Supervising daily compounding operations while ensuring strict compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards
- Leading, training, and mentoring compounders in batching, weighing, mixing, and equipment operation
- Reviewing and verifying batch records, formulations, raw material usage, and finished goods specifications
- Managing production schedules, batch tickets, inventory activity, and documentation accuracy
- Troubleshooting compounding equipment, kettles, and process deviations in collaboration with QA and Production
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and safety culture
- Ensuring safe operation of forklifts and material handling equipment and maintaining exemplary housekeeping
- Supporting plant growth initiatives including preparation for additional shifts and expanded operations
Salary: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
