Qualifications and responsibilities for this Machine Shop Supervisor position include:
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician with field service operations experience, along with strong team management and supervisory skills
- Experience with CNC or NC Programming, including Mastercam, and strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and drilling/rig environments
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; local travel to job sites as needed in a company vehicle with gas provided
- Supervise the machine shop team while assisting on the floor in both supervisory and hands-on production roles
- Conduct inspections of machinery and equipment, perform repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance, and document all service activities
- Communicate with management regarding maintenance needs, safety protocols, and repair procedures while adhering to company safety standards and policies
- Support fabrication, mechanics, machinists, and the design/construction of pipeline trenching equipment while reporting to the project manager
Salary: $28 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 401(k), health insurance, PTO with accrual starting immediately, 8 paid holidays including Good Friday, and an unpaid winter break in December for hourly employees with the option to use PTO.
