Join a fast-growing, multi-discipline engineering firm in Madisonville, KY, now launching an in-house Architecture Division! We are seeking a visionary Licensed Architect to lead this new department, shape the architectural future of the firm, and deliver high-impact designs across public, municipal, and industrial projects. This is a rare ground-floor leadership opportunity where you’ll build and grow a team within an established, respected engineering practice serving Western Kentucky and beyond. This position is open to a hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office for client meetings and project discussions, though fully onsite availability is welcome.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Licensed Architect position include:
- Licensed Architect in Kentucky or ability to obtain licensure within 60 days
- Minimum of 5 years of architectural design experience with public-use or industrial facilities
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and ability to produce construction-ready plans without drafting support
- Strong knowledge of public building codes, accessibility standards, and safety regulations
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Lead and manage projects ranging from municipal restrooms to large industrial facilities
- Represent the firm in client and community meetings with professionalism and clarity
- Provide leadership to grow the Architecture Division by hiring and mentoring additional staff
Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
