Qualifications and responsibilities for this Lead Electrician position include:
- Minimum 5+ years of industrial electrical experience, especially in troubleshooting and installation
- Proficient in bending and threading rigid conduit and working with hazardous location wiring
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and local building codes
- Experience with PLCs and AC/DC motor drive systems is a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or verbal instructions
- Skilled in working with low, medium, and high voltage systems
- Must reside in New Jersey and be non-union (or out of union for at least 7 years)
Salary: $34.00 - $42.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health coverage, sick time and vacation time (details provided during interview), and a 401K with a 3% match. A company truck may be provided based on location and contribution level.
