Qualifications and responsibilities for this Hydraulic Pump Design Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) and 3+ years of hydraulic pump design experience
- Hands-on expertise with pump development, testing, analysis, and root-cause failure investigations
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred; Creo or equivalent also considered)
- Design, model, and validate advanced pump systems including axial piston, radial piston, and gear pumps
- Manage prototyping, testing procedures, and performance validation to ensure reliability and compliance
- Collaborate with manufacturing, controls, and software teams to integrate next-generation technologies (IoT, predictive maintenance)
- Lead projects from concept through completion, including documentation, reporting, and presentations to leadership
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction efforts, and innovation in pump technologies
Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
