We’re hiring an HVAC/R Field Service Technician II to join our remote team based in Houston. Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC/R Field Service Technician II position include:

  • 1–3 years of hands-on industrial HVAC/R field service experience, with solid diagnostic capabilities and ability to work independently
  • EPA 608 Universal Certification, OSHA-10 (minimum), and valid driver’s license required
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting industrial chillers, refrigerant recovery units, vacuum pumps, and electrical control systems
  • Perform refrigerant recovery, preventative maintenance, service repairs, and oil/refrigerant sampling
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and service bulletins to guide work
  • Comfortable using computers/tablets for service reports and technical documentation
  • Travel up to 80% regionally and 20% nationally with full travel accommodations provided by the company
  • Act as on-site lead when paired with junior techs, providing mentoring and direction while upholding safety standards

Salary: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage (starting the first of the month after 30 days), 401(k) with 3% company match after 45 days, 2 weeks of vacation, 7 personal days, 2 floating holidays, 9 paid holidays, time and a half for overtime, and double time on holidays and weekends. Travel expenses, per diem, and all equipment and tools are fully covered.
