Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Mechanical Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia or South Carolina desired
- 5–10 years of experience in mechanical system design, specifically HVAC systems; federal project experience preferred
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CAD, and Microsoft Office tools
- Support startup and commissioning of complex HVAC systems and equipment
- Provide technical expertise on DX cooling, return air, humidity control, and water-side systems
- Collaborate with controls teams to integrate mechanical and automation systems
- Travel to job sites for testing, commissioning, and project support as needed
Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
