Technicians are dispatched from home, work independently, and are backed by an experienced team and leadership that understands the field.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC Field Technician position include:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC/R, especially foodservice and gas equipment
- EPA Universal Certification required
- Perform 3–5 daily service and maintenance calls on commercial refrigeration, ovens, ice cream machines, and more
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills; B2B sales experience is a plus
- Must supply basic tools; company provides vehicle, specialty tools, and parts
- Participate in regular training and occasional travel to company training centers (Dallas or Illinois)
- Must be comfortable with rotating on-call weekends and overtime as needed
- Dispatched from home and expected to drive within regional territory (typically 1–3 hours)
Salary: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance with 50% employer contribution for the employee, paid vacation (1 week after 6 months, 2 weeks after 3 years, and 3 weeks after 5 years), 401(k) with 4% company match including Roth IRA option, paid holidays, paid birthday off, additional personal time based on tenure, and optional dental and vision coverage. A company van is provided, and travel time is paid from the moment you leave home.
