Description
Bring your hands-on skills and passion for hospitality to a beautiful beachfront resort as a Hotel Maintenance Technician! Located at a premier property under a reputable management group, this position offers the chance to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment that values your technical expertise and customer service mindset. From general repairs to pool upkeep and guest service calls, you’ll play a key role in maintaining an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Hotel Maintenance Technician position include:
- High school diploma or GED required; prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred
- Perform minor repairs including plumbing, AC, TV, and lock changes across guest rooms and property areas
- Maintain pool deck cleanliness and beach furniture setup; check pool chemistry (no chemical handling required)
- Respond to guest repair requests from the front desk and complete tasks from the maintenance log
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions, including heat and humidity
- Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision; safety conscious and detail oriented
- Must be available for a rotating schedule: 3 days (10 AM – 6 PM) and 2 days (3 PM – 11 PM)
- Must pass pre-employment drug and criminal background screening
Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
