Qualifications and responsibilities for this Glass Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Glass, Ceramic, Materials, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Entry-level (0–3 years) or Mid-level (3–5 years) experience in glass manufacturing or engineering
- Work hands-on with production teams to optimize glass manufacturing processes
- Lead and implement continuous improvement efforts using advanced technologies
- Investigate and resolve production issues using engineering and glass science principles
- Collaborate with multiple departments including QA, R&D, and Sales to support product development
- Contribute to day-to-day hot and cold end operations in manufacturing
- Engage in cross-functional teams to develop and industrialize new processes
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
