Qualifications and responsibilities for this Geotechnical Department Manager position include:

  • PE license required and a minimum of 8 years of geotechnical engineering experience (preferably with Arizona market knowledge).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Proven ability to lead and grow a department, including supervising staff and managing $1M+ in revenue.
  • Expertise in preparing proposals, managing client relationships, and promoting company services.
  • Skilled in overseeing field and lab operations, ensuring high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Experienced in mentoring staff, managing resources, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Able to act as senior engineer and expert witness on complex projects.
  • Strong business development acumen with a track record of consistent department growth.

Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
