We’re seeking a Field Service Technician for a remote opportunity with a leading international manufacturer of testing and measurement equipment. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Service Technician position include:
- Associate degree in Electronics or Certificate of Training from a trade school preferred (relevant experience will be considered)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service or technical support
- Strong knowledge of electronics, software, IP networks, mechanical and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical instruments; write service reports and repair proposals
- Provide remote technical support to customers and distributors via phone, email, or digital platforms
- Conduct product training sessions for both internal staff and customers
- Collaborate with engineering teams and vendors to develop service documentation and troubleshooting guides
- Maintain tools, parts inventory, and professional communication with clients and coworkers
Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including up to 120 hours of PTO (accrued at 5 hours per paycheck), 401(k) with Vanguard including 100% match up to 3% and 50% match on 4% and 5% after 6 months (fully vested), 80/20 employer-paid medical (BlueCross BlueShield with 3 plan options including HSA), HSA contributions ranging from $500 to $1,000 annually based on coverage level, 50/50 dental coverage, employee-paid vision, employer-paid life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability, and access to an Employee Assistance Program.
