Qualifications and responsibilities for this Excavation Project Manager/Estimator position include:
- 10+ years of excavating experience with fieldwork and heavy equipment background (or less with a Civil Engineering degree)
- Prior estimating experience; familiarity with Bid2Win software preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and manage job costing
- Experience managing multiple projects: commercial, residential, municipal, marine, and snow mitigation
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Oversight of project crews, vendors, subcontractors, and customers
- Handle change orders, cost tracking, and timely billing coordination
- Willingness to work on-site during peak season and in-office during off-season
Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
