This Estimator position in Salem, NH offers the opportunity to play a key role in analyzing project documents, preparing competitive bids, and supporting profitable business decisions while collaborating with multiple departments to deliver the best solutions for clients.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator position include:
- 2+ years of estimating experience in vibration isolation, HVAC, or commercial construction – Prepare accurate and timely project estimates for customers.
- Strong ability to review plans, specifications, and drawings – Gather and analyze project documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset – Determine key variables impacting cost and project feasibility.
- Cross-department collaboration skills – Work with internal teams to develop the best solutions, pricing, and scope of work.
- Customer service and communication skills – Provide industry knowledge and product information to customers and professionals.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities – Maintain company bid lists and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, email, and data entry – Support estimating and reporting tasks.
- Experience with Bluebeam or ability to learn proprietary estimating software – Utilize digital tools to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency.
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance covered at 80% for individuals or families, dental insurance, vision insurance, HSA/FSA options, ancillary insurance options, a 401(k) plan with a 4% company match, $20,000 life insurance, paid time off with 2 weeks PTO, 3 sick days, 7 paid holidays plus 4 floating holidays, and tuition reimbursement.
