Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator opportunity include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 3+ years of related work experience in the estimation, design, construction, commissioning, and/or operation of PV solar
- Experience in electrical construction, including conduit and wiring; field experience and journeyman background preferred
- Familiarity with Solar concepts such as module technologies, single axis trackers, inverters, transformers, and string sizing, DC/AC ratio, GCR, etc.
- Proficient in Excel, HeavyBid, PVBid, or similar estimating software
- Develop and submit accurate cost estimates for commercial and utility-scale projects by analyzing project specifications and market trends
- Prepare and manage comprehensive bid packages, ensuring alignment with project requirements
Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
