Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator Assistant position include:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy highway construction
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs using HCSS, Agtek 4D, and Bluebeam
- Evaluate bid specs and drawings with a full understanding of contract documents
- Gather requirements and prioritize estimating tasks
- Obtain and analyze bids from subcontractors and vendors
- Resolve cost discrepancies and analyze project cost data
- Organize and prioritize multiple ongoing estimates
- Assist in bid day scope reviews and prepare detailed scope letters for clients
Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
