Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator - Security & Low Voltage Systems position include:
- 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial projects, with a focus on CCTV, data cabling, and system integration
- Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) and familiarity with NEC codes
- Experience using bidding platforms such as Construct Connect or similar
- Ability to handle both public and private project bids independently
- Provide accurate and competitive cost estimates for camera, cable, and security system installations
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful bid submissions
- Understand project drawings, CAD layouts, and integration requirements for security systems
- Track and manage closed projects, documenting estimates and bid outcomes
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year with a 1-3% gross margin on jobs closed, commensurate with experience.
