Description

Join a respected and collaborative electrical contractor in Brea, CA known for its strong team culture, long employee tenure, and employee ownership structure. This organization specializes in complex commercial and industrial electrical systems, and employees contribute to projects from start to finish in a highly supportive environment. They are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee medium and high-voltage electrical construction projects and help drive project success from planning through completion.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Project Manager position include:

  • Minimum 3+ years of Electrical Project Management experience and 5+ years in construction project management – Manage commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems (120/208V, 277/480V, and 12kV+ systems) – Oversee projects involving switchgear, transformers, MCCs, generators, ATS units, and grounding systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and specifications – Ensure project compliance with design requirements and applicable codes.
  • Experience managing multiple projects ranging from $100K to $5M – Coordinate budgets, schedules, and project deliverables.
  • Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Accubid – Track project progress, documentation, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of public works projects and labor agreements – Maintain compliance with union labor requirements and project regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and collaboration skills – Work closely with engineers, field supervisors, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
  • Strong financial and schedule management capabilities – Monitor job costs, forecasts, invoicing, and overall project profitability.

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
