Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Design Engineer opportunity include:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University
- 2+ years of electrical systems design, specifically for commercial or educational buildings
- Strong experience with Revit
- Design electrical systems for commercial and public buildings, including lighting, power, life safety, security, and communication systems
- Expand engineering capabilities, develop client relationships, and maintain existing ones
- Conduct data collection, engineering calculations, and produce high-quality, accurate drawings for building design
- Engage in field work, installation checks, problem-solving, calculation verification, vendor drawing reviews, and technical specification development
- Coordinate with architectural and other engineering disciplines, assist in project reporting, and manage construction administration, including shop drawing reviews and responding to information requests
Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
