Qualifications and responsibilities for this Drywall and Metal Framing Estimator position include:
- 3–5 years of drywall and metal framing estimating experience; prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall, metal framing, insulation, acoustic ceilings, and related trades
- Proficiency with PlanSwift; perform digital takeoffs and accurate cost calculations
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings and specifications; review plans, addenda, and contracts to ensure full scope coverage
- Experience with Excel and Google Docs; develop comprehensive bids including material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Ability to monitor and follow up on active bids; conduct pricing analysis to maintain competitiveness and profitability
- Project support experience; assist construction teams to ensure awarded projects meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements
- Organizational and analytical skills; manage master material templates, vendor pricing agreements, and inventory coordination
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; conduct site visits and collaborate with suppliers and construction managers as needed
Salary: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
