Qualifications and responsibilities for this Crane Technician position include:

  • Experience as an Industrial Electrician, Maintenance Technician, Elevator Mechanic, Heavy Equipment Technician, or similar industrial service role; perform inspections and preventative maintenance on cranes at military installations
  • Strong mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills; diagnose equipment issues and support crane system repairs
  • Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems, motor controls, or industrial equipment is preferred; assist with electrical and control system troubleshooting
  • Ability to work safely at heights and around large lifting equipment; perform routine safety inspections and compliance checks
  • Willingness to complete extensive training including OEM schools and industry certifications; participate in ongoing technical education programs
  • Interest in advanced testing methods such as non-destructive testing (magnetic crack detection); learn specialized inspection techniques
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required base clearances (no felonies); operate company service trucks from base laydown locations
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to build a long-term career in the crane industry; maintain daily service documentation and inspection records

Salary: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
