Qualifications and responsibilities for this Building Controls Design Engineer position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering/Technology field required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Building Automation Systems or HVAC Controls Engineering
- Proficiency in Niagara-based platforms, including N4; programming and UI development
- Ability to design, program, and integrate building control systems with a focus on HVAC, lighting, and smart building tech
- Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, low voltage circuitry, and technical drawings
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving in software and hardware environments
- Travel up to 25% to support onsite integration and commissioning
- Collaborate across teams and communicate project results to stakeholders
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a 15% performance-based bonus (paid bi-annually in August and March), 3 weeks of PTO, 70% company-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for individuals and families, and a 401(k) plan with a 4% company match when the employee contributes at least 5%. Benefits eligibility begins the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
