Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls Design Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience in controls or SCADA system design
- Strong knowledge of industrial systems, controls panel design/building, and infrastructure components
- Proficient in AutoCAD and experienced with Windows/Linux OS, virtualization technologies, and cloud services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design controls, SCADA, and network products tailored to customer and project requirements
- Assist with hardware/software installation and configuration, including onsite visits as needed
- Create, maintain, and update documentation including diagrams, procedures, and As-Built drawings
- Troubleshoot and upgrade systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and ISO 9001 processes
- Foster strong customer relationships and ensure client satisfaction through excellent communication and support
Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including United Healthcare health insurance covering 85% for employees and families, a 100% 401K match up to 4% after 90 days, 15 days of PTO plus 3 floating days (front-loaded), and a 10% year-end bonus based on year-to-date salary.
