A Florida-based civil engineering and airport consulting firm is seeking a Construction Inspector in Fort Myers, FL. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Inspector position include:
- 5+ years of experience on large commercial construction projects; airport experience a plus
- Ability to pass an FBI background check and maintain a drug-free status
- Monitor and document all aspects of contractor and subcontractor performance
- Maintain daily construction logs, including progress photos and contractor activity
- Collect, log, and track shop drawings, RFIs, pay requests, and correspondence
- Coordinate with subconsultants and verify completion of punch lists
- Attend construction meetings and act as liaison between client and contractors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Procore preferred
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
