With projects ranging from complex MDOT infrastructure work to large-scale heavy civil developments, this role puts you at the center of quality excellence in a company founded in 1966 and continuing to expand.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Concrete Quality Control Manager position include:
- Level I Concrete Field Testing Technician certification – Perform fresh concrete testing during paving including air loss, temperature, and slump testing.
- Level II Concrete Technician certification preferred – Ensure all testing procedures and quality standards meet regulatory and project requirements.
- Experience with MDOT or government agency projects – Maintain compliance with agency specifications and documentation requirements.
- Concrete inspection and quality control expertise – Oversee and ensure the quality of concrete used across multiple active projects.
- Strong data management and reporting skills – Maintain accurate testing records and documentation.
- Batch plant knowledge – Review and monitor batch plant operations for quality assurance.
- Project coordination abilities – Prepare stockpile management plans and calculate plant and project yields.
- Leadership and communication skills – Manage multiple concurrent projects while collaborating with project teams and stakeholders.
Salary: $65,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
