A well-established plumbing contractor with nearly 50 years of industry excellence is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Foreman in Charlotte, NC. Known for delivering high-quality workmanship on commercial projects such as car dealerships, restaurants, retail centers, and strip malls, this company partners with top contractors and builders throughout the region. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced plumbing professional to lead crews, manage commercial installations from underground to trim-out, and grow with a respected and stable organization.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial Plumbing Foreman position include:
- Strong experience in commercial plumbing systems from underground to trim-out while leading installation, repair, and maintenance activities
- Supervise and coordinate 2–3 crew members while maintaining productivity and jobsite quality standards
- Manage commercial plumbing projects to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and timelines
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, and engineered plans to guide installation and project execution
- Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to complete plumbing installations and repairs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, plumbing codes, and jobsite safety requirements
- Document hours, materials, and equipment used on projects and coordinate scheduling through ProCore and Connect Teams
- Operate a commercial vehicle and travel locally to project sites while maintaining a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Salary: $35 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including BCBS health insurance with 50% employer-paid coverage after 90 days, a 401(k) with 4% company match, $25,000 life insurance, optional AFLAC coverage, paid holidays after 90 days, PTO beginning with one week after the first year (negotiable based on tenure), paid drive time to and from job sites, and overtime paid at time-and-a-half after 40 hours.
