Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial HVAC Technician position include:
- 10+ years of commercial HVAC service experience – Diagnose, repair, and maintain complex commercial HVAC systems for a wide variety of clients.
- 3+ years working with large equipment (100+ ton systems) – Service chillers, cooling towers, and large air-cooled systems.
- EPA Universal Certification – Ensure compliance with refrigerant handling and environmental regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair decision-making skills – Identify system issues and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical diagrams – Perform advanced diagnostics on commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
- Customer service and communication skills – Provide professional interaction with clients while explaining system issues and solutions.
- Self-motivated and organized work style – Manage service calls independently while maintaining detailed documentation.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs. – Travel to job sites using a company vehicle and perform physical service tasks safely.
Salary: $40 - $48 per hour, commensurate with experience.
