Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer & Machinist position include:
- Program CNC machines using Fusion 360, interpreting blueprints, CAD models, and DXF files to create accurate toolpaths
- Set up and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, including live tool lathe operations
- Load materials, set fixtures, and calibrate tools and offsets for precise machining
- Optimize cutting speeds, feeds, and machining strategies to improve efficiency
- Troubleshoot machining or programming issues and debug CNC programs as needed
- Inspect finished parts using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure specifications are met
- Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning to maintain peak equipment performance
- Maintain strong attention to detail and apply mechanical troubleshooting skills in daily operations
Salary: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
