Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Programmer position include:

  • High School Diploma or GED required (2-year Machining Technology degree preferred); develop and maintain CNC programs for multiple machines.
  • Strong horizontal mill setup experience (FANUC controls preferred) and horizontal lathe with live tooling experience; program and prove out new and existing jobs.
  • Proficiency in G & M code and Macro-B operations; troubleshoot machining and process issues on the plant floor.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T; inspect parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM and simulation software (Solid Edge, MasterCAM, NCSimul preferred); design fixtures and optimize machining processes.
  • Working knowledge of speeds, feeds, tooling, and machine shop math; select cutting tools and define machining processes.
  • Strong documentation skills; maintain revision-controlled program files and operator instructions.
  • Ability to train operators and collaborate with production and engineering teams; support quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.

Salary: $34 - $43 per hour, commensurate with experience, plus monthly bonus (budgeted at 20% of base monthly salary, flexing based on company performance; plant average approximately 17%).

Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 12 paid holidays, company shutdown the last week of the year, PTO (80 hours after 90 days) plus 40 hours of sick time, PPO and high deductible health plans (employee premiums as low as $100/month and family plans as low as $353/month), dental (as low as $8/month), vision (as low as $7/month), life insurance, STD, LTD, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 (role-related), optional overtime (typically Fridays), and benefits eligibility the first of the month following start date.
