Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Operator position include:
- 2-3 years of experience operating CNC mills, lathes, ACME Gridley, INDEX multi-spindle machines, or Hydromat
- Program and set up mills or lathes, including zeroing, tool offsets, compensation, and conditional switches
- Read blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools to ensure part accuracy
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to maintain part specifications
- Troubleshoot machining issues, replace worn tools, and follow quality assurance procedures
- Perform setup and operation of Hydromat and Mazak machines on 1st or 2nd shift
- Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on machines and communicate between shifts
- Participate in a two-round interview process, including an assessment with the Production Manager
Salary: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
