Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Professional Engineer position include:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or EIT on track for licensure within one year
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, ideally in municipal infrastructure or public works
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Willingness to relocate to Ferriday or surrounding areas (Natchez, MS / Tallulah, LA)
- Work closely with and learn from the senior engineer to take over department responsibilities
- Lead civil design projects from procurement through closeout, including utilities, roads, and ports
- Collaborate with public entities and manage hands-on site visits and project meetings
- Bring new technology and fresh ideas to help modernize workflows and improve project delivery
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 for EIT, and $130,000 - $150,000 per year for PE, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance (50% company-paid), dental and vision coverage, 52 hours of sick leave, vacation accrual that increases over time, overtime potential, 401(k) with 3% company match, and annual bonuses ranging from $3,000 to $7,500.
