Qualifications and responsibilities for this Civil Engineer – Stormwater & Wastewater Design position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; PE license in Ohio or E.I. with ability to obtain PE within 12 months required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in site/civil engineering with a focus on stormwater or water/wastewater systems
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with GIS; hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software like HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM preferred
- Design grading/site plans, stormwater management systems, utility services, and erosion control for private and municipal clients
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and prepare H&H reports aligned with local, state, and federal regulations
- Prepare EPA permit applications and other regulatory documentation (e.g., NPDES, floodplain, stormwater permits)
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to deliver cost-effective and timely engineering solutions
- Lead development of plan sets, perform cost estimates, and provide construction support
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
