An exciting Assistant Superintendent opportunity is available in Northern New Jersey with a growing construction company specializing in warehouse retrofit projects! This is a fantastic entry-level superintendent role for someone looking to gain hands-on field leadership experience, support active job sites, and grow within a close-knit team offering real project exposure from day one.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Assistant Superintendent position include:
- 1-5 years of construction experience preferred, ideally with warehouse, industrial, or retrofit projects.
- Assist with day-to-day job site support, construction coordination, and active project needs.
- Support project documentation, permits, plan pickups, and general field operations.
- Work mostly on-site, with the ability to travel as needed for project requirements.
- Maintain a typical Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility based on travel or project demands.
- No degree, certifications, or specific software experience required.
- OSHA 10/30 is not mandatory, and the company can help candidates get up to speed.
- Rental vehicle provided for travel and mileage reimbursement available for local driving.
Salary: $67,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
