Join a historic and reputable construction firm as an Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer in Atlanta, GA, and become part of a team working on transformative projects including a multi-year development and a high-level parking deck at Atlanta Airport. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer position include:
- 5+ years of construction experience on projects exceeding $10M, ideally in commercial or aviation sectors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and construction project management tools like Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project
- Assist in budgeting, estimating, design coordination, and procurement in preconstruction
- Develop and maintain project schedules, track RFIs, evaluate subcontractor proposals
- Coordinate field operations to align with specs, safety, and schedule requirements
- Support subcontractor management, submittals, change orders, and cost tracking
- Attend and document meetings with owners, design teams, and subcontractors
- Help ensure project quality control and assist in closeout documentation
Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including a company vehicle (after initial allowance period), medical/dental/vision reimbursement or salary rollover, roughly 20 days PTO per year, and an end-of-year bonus (minimum one week’s pay).
