We are currently seeking a Remote Architectural Designer to join a small, agile team with a simplified workflow and flexible schedule. Qualifications and responsibilities for this MEP Drafter position include:
- 1+ year of experience drafting for MEP and commercial projects (entry-level candidates welcome)
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines without micromanagement
- Create full sets of MEP documents reviewed by in-house engineers within 10 days or less
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus (transitioning in future)
- Strong understanding of building codes and standards
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to determine project requirements
- Develop architectural and engineering documentation using simplified templates
- Must have personal computer and be comfortable working remotely on a flexible 24/7 schedule
Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This 1099 contractor position transitioning to W2 employee status after 6 months, with growth opportunities.
