Qualifications and responsibilities for this Aerospace Engineer position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace, or related field; support aerospace product builds including design interpretation, material selection, and manufacturability assessments
- 5–7 years of aerospace and advanced composites experience; translate customer requirements into manufacturing plans and inspection criteria
- Strong knowledge of AS9100, ITAR, and aerospace quality standards; ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements
- Experience with CATIA (SolidWorks acceptable); interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Hands-on composite materials experience; apply knowledge of layups, curing, bonding, machining, and assembly processes
- Proven problem-solving ability; lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Experience supporting hardware through build, inspection, and delivery; assist with prototype development and production transition
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; support process development, documentation, audits, and new product introductions
Salary: $115,000 - $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
