Qualifications and responsibilities for this ACME Machine Operator position include:
- Operate ACME Gridley, INDEX multi-spindle machines, or Hydromat equipment while maintaining production efficiency
- Set up machines, including tooling, fixtures, chucks, collets, and attachments for accurate production runs
- Perform CNC programming and adjustments (G-Code/M-Code), including setting offsets and proving programs
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure parts meet exact specifications
- Conduct quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Monitor machining processes, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain tolerances
- Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs to ensure equipment reliability
- Maintain production documentation and communicate effectively across shifts
Salary: $26 - $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
