Qualifications and responsibilities for this Accounting Coordinator position include:
- 2+ years of general accounting and accounts payable experience; coordinate full-cycle accounts payable processes
- Experience in construction accounting preferred; assist with job cost tracking, billing, and lien release compliance
- Familiarity with Viewpoint/Vista ERP is a plus; support internal controls and financial systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools; manage cash receipts and financial data entry
- Strong attention to detail; assist with month-end general ledger closing and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred; support tax, licensing, and 1099 processing
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; provide support to project teams, vendors, and management
- Ability to multitask and adapt; assist with payroll processing and provide backup support across accounting functions
Salary: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including ESOP participation with a 6% company contribution after one year, 401(k) with 4% match, 80% employer-paid healthcare coverage, 100% company-paid short-term and long-term disability, paid holidays including floating holidays, and a PTO program that begins accruing immediately with increased time after tenure.
