Build your future with a close-knit construction team in Wilmington, Delaware, where in-house millwork keeps new homes moving from raw materials to finished interiors. This Millwork Foreman opportunity is a direct-hire role focused on leading the interior millwork shop, including pre-hanging interior doors and producing stairs and related components for residential construction.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Millwork Foreman position include:
- Experience in the millwork industry with hands-on knowledge of interior millwork production.
- Familiarity with pre-hanging interior doors and producing stairs for new home construction.
- Comfort running and/or supporting shop equipment such as pre-hanging door machines and hinge-routing processes (training available on specific equipment).
- Ability to oversee interior millwork stock work such as jambs, door stops, and related components.
- Working foreman leadership experience leading a team of approximately 5–6 shop employees.
- Strong understanding of residential interior millwork and how it’s manufactured in a shop environment.
- Organized, dependable approach to scheduling, production flow, and daily shop priorities.
- Willingness to be a working leader who can step up beyond basic fabrication tasks and help run the mill.
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Health insurance with the company paying approximately 70–75% of premiums, a 401(k) with 50% match on the first 7% contributed, and quarterly bonuses based on company profits.
