Join a collaborative and growing architectural firm as a Job Captain in Los Angeles, California! This is an exciting fully in-office opportunity with a small, hands-on team specializing in meaningful religious and educational projects, where you will gain exposure far beyond drafting and contribute across multiple project phases with strong opportunities for growth.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Job Captain position include:
- Bachelor of Science or Architecture from an accredited program required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in a Job Captain role
- Strong Revit experience is required
- Understanding of building codes and ability to work through code requirements
- Ability to support projects through multiple phases, including documentation, submissions, and coordination
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Lumion, Adobe Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Assist with site visits, field measurements, client meetings, and contractor coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to help lead projects from start to finish while meeting deadlines and budgets
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
