Join an established, family-oriented Part-Time Estimator – Landscaping/Masonry opportunity in Middletown, CT. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator – Landscaping/Masonry position include:
• 5+ years of estimating experience in landscaping, hardscape, masonry, or related construction projects
• Prepare estimates for landscape and demolition projects from start to finish, including public and private work
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from material suppliers and subcontractors for the bidding process
• Experience with landscape, hardscape, and masonry projects preferred, though general construction estimating experience will also be considered
• Use Bluebeam for takeoffs and estimating tasks
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate pricing
• Attend occasional site walkthroughs and pre-bid meetings as needed with minimal travel
• Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple estimates and deadlines
Salary: $40 - $48 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This part-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including an insurance stipend covering approximately 30% of the employee’s premium, Roth IRA with 3% match, 2 weeks of PTO, sick days, mileage reimbursement, and OSHA 10 training if needed.
