Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Operator / Vertical Machining position include:
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience (mills only); operate vertical CNC mills, bridge/gantry mills, and 5-axis machines
- Experience with vertical machining centers required; run parts from models, prints, and engineering documentation
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T; maintain tight tolerances in aerospace/tooling environments
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Heidenhain, or Fidia controls; perform basic setup adjustments, offsets, and tool changes
- Strong machining fundamentals (feeds, speeds, tooling); work with aluminum, steel, and composite materials
- Experience inspecting parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges; ensure quality and accuracy
- Aerospace or tooling experience preferred; support continuous improvement and machining optimization
- Ability to maintain safe, clean work environment; follow all safety and operational standards
Salary: $30 - $40 per hour, commensurate with experience.
