Qualifications and responsibilities for this GIS / Mapping Specialist position include:

  • 0–3 years of GIS or mapping-related experience – Assist with creating and maintaining maps that support land and infrastructure projects
  • Experience using ESRI software such as ArcGIS or ArcGIS Pro – Produce mapping deliverables and visualizations using GIS tools
  • Understanding of geospatial data and coordinate systems – Manage and maintain geospatial datasets and mapping records
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills – Perform spatial analysis and ensure data accuracy
  • Ability to work in a collaborative office environment – Support internal teams with mapping, visualization, and spatial data needs
  • Experience with deed plotting, parcel mapping, or land datasets preferred – Assist with land mapping and deed plotting tasks
  • Exposure to Python, ArcPy, or GIS automation workflows preferred – Help streamline GIS workflows and geoprocessing tasks
  • Familiarity with geodatabases, spatial analysis, and geoprocessing tools preferred – Organize and analyze spatial data for infrastructure projects

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
