Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Systems Engineer – Genetec (Access Control & Video Surveillance SME) position include:
- Genetec Security Center Certification – Lead architecture, configuration, and lifecycle support for Genetec Security Center environments including Omnicast, Synergis, AutoVu, and Sipelia.
- 8+ years of experience with enterprise video surveillance and access control systems – Design and deploy large-scale systems across multi-site and transit infrastructure environments.
- 5+ years of hands-on Genetec system design and deployment – Develop system standards, integration strategies, and oversee commissioning activities.
- Experience with server virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V) – Architect and support virtualized server environments for security platform deployments.
- SQL database management expertise – Configure and maintain database performance and reliability for enterprise security systems.
- Strong network architecture knowledge (VLANs, multicast, QoS) – Design network topologies supporting high-performance video and access control systems.
- Experience with storage performance sizing and system architecture – Develop NVR architectures, redundancy strategies, and storage performance models.
- Experience in transit, transportation, or critical infrastructure deployments – Support integration with mobile video recorders, LTE/5G/WiFi offload systems, and vehicle-based environments while mentoring engineers and supporting installation teams.
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
