Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Purchasing Agent position include:
- Experience purchasing industrial materials and power transmission components; source quality parts and materials for heavy equipment and mechanical projects.
- Strong vendor management skills; evaluate suppliers, negotiate competitive pricing, and maintain long-term supplier relationships.
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing or construction environments; ensure purchased components meet project requirements and quality standards.
- Ability to manage procurement schedules; ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time to support project deadlines.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills; track orders, pricing, and vendor communications effectively.
- Ability to work closely with engineering, drafting, and project teams to support equipment fabrication and project execution.

Salary: $60,000 to $75,000 annual year
