They are currently seeking an Electrical Estimator based in Brea, CA (with potential remote flexibility for candidates familiar with California electrical code) to support medium voltage electrical projects and deliver accurate, high-quality project estimates.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Estimator position include:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator – Prepare detailed labor and material estimates for commercial and industrial electrical projects.
- Strong proficiency with Accubid or ConEst estimating software – Generate accurate takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and bid proposals.
- Solid understanding of medium voltage electrical systems – Support estimating efforts for complex commercial and industrial electrical installations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and RFPs – Analyze project documents to develop accurate scopes and estimates.
- Experience performing material takeoffs and creating bills of materials – Ensure accurate cost forecasting and procurement planning.
- Ability to analyze subcontractor and vendor quotations – Evaluate pricing and ensure competitive and accurate project estimates.
- Strong communication and documentation skills – Coordinate with purchasing and project teams to support project planning and execution.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented – Maintain clear documentation of estimating efforts and project data.
Salary: Up to $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
